seasons fall unaware of times ceaseless embrace

sing farewell to the child’s ephemeral games

yesterday’s prayers a drunk bubble tower

hands, hair, only harvest bells

 

waking kingdom’s momentary glories

laugh, kiss, cry, everything you know

a transparent filament isolated

somewhere on the earth below

 

yet fire’s concealed darkness

eyes closer hungry lips love’s release

a divine palace of ancestral dreams

a sacred river breathing within these sunless walls

 

the heart’s flash at night - woven stars

bridges winter’s chasm of meandering turmoil

a measureless fountain of dancing radiance

weaving miracles on our homes

 

we may never see each other again

but for now we are together

not knowing or caring

 

 

a choir of angel tears

candles glimmer at dusk
